On the tour, you learn about places that were meaningful in the life of Frederick Douglass – like Emancipation Park, where Mr. Douglass gave a dedication speech for a statue honoring President Lincoln. We also learn about the Metropolitan AME Church, where Douglass worshiped, as well as the MLK Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the African American Civil War Memorial.
